What is Regulation EC 1935/2004?
Framework Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 27, 2004 sets out general safety requirements for all food contact materials and articles which are intended to come into direct or indirect contact with foodstuffs placed on the Community market in order to ensure a high level of consumer protection. It is foreseen that further requirements related to specific materials will be adopted.
